Welcome to Automatic Train Control. The
best software for everyone.
<> If you are looking
to operate digital command controlled locomotive across the Internet or
for North Coast
Engineering
Power
House Pro systems,
for Wangro
System One,
for Digitrax system
for C/MRI
then read on.
>
You will be just amazes at what this little
piece of
software can do!
Here is a brief look at what ATC
can do with your personal computer connected the ithe internet or to a
digital command
control
system. The full instructions are included in the software package.
Automatic Train Control now
has...
- See
a web page of the last user to use the software. Automatic Train
Control. (The software now takes a screen capture of itself and
uploads it to
the server for everyone to look at.)

- See a live stream video from the host server. (If you
can't connect to my server to control my locomotives, someone else must
be connected. Try watching what they are doing from the web page.)

- Save all you
older EPROM
settings and re-store then to the new EPROMS! Edit all the cab prameter
and command control unit with anew utility screen.
- Full
communication support with
your
digital command control and your C/MRI units via the serial port and
the ASCII command
set. You can see the
commands being send to the command station or the
C/MRI in the
main window, as well as interact with them by typing in manually.
- Full database of your
roster. This database
contains all the information you want to hold about your locomotive
including
prototype information and model information Prototype information is
only available to customers that financially support the project). The
prototype information
is being developed as we speak. All the information will be easily
applied by selecting the appropriate prototype and its data
will
be transferred to your database.
- Full database of all the
configuration
variables located in your locomotive. For each locomotive you have in
your
database, you can house the configuration variable settings for that
decoder
installed. This includes the speed table. Arrangements have been made
for specific type decoder information to the database.
- Full database for your track
plan. With the adoption of the C/MRI system, you can define your track
plan using our centralized traffic control screen. Just add or
remove blocks and the database is adjusted accordingly. Lots of
paramters to ajust the way you want you signals and block to operate.
Its fully compatible with Bruce Chubbs CMRI system.
- Automatic Speed tables.
This
is one of
the best features of the program. Using a special cable connected to
you
layout, ATC can measure the scale speed of your locomotive as it
travels
around a loop. With the information, ATC calculated the speed table
configuration
variables for you locomotive. No more guessing involved! Perfect
matched
between all locomotives and decoders.
- Completed consist control,
with a separate
database, ATC now remember all your consists, direction. It even allows
faster ways to delete, change, change direction of a locomotive in a
consist.
Another great feature!
- Specific configuration
variables setting,
each manufacture has configuration variables setting for their specific
decoder (CV49-64 and CV112-128). You can now edit these specific
setting
with ease. We've include information on each specific decoder. For a
list
of currently supported decoder in our data base
.
- Consist control macros.
Now
that is a
big name for a database I installed to record command to the digital
command
control units to be played back later. I use this feature at train
shows
allot. It allows me to run up to five consists automatically. Additions
are being made to include block control.
- Graphic User Interface.
Oh,
now we are
getting technical, but oh how sweet this option is. With the aid of
graphics,
you now can ride in the cab of four different locomotives, a diesel
electric
9-40CW, GP38-2, an electric Acela, and a steam engine, the Flying
Scotsman.
Each with their own different cab controls to run your locomotive on
your
layout. All features are used, blowers, injectors, firebox boors,
whistles,
horns, reverser, throttle, dynamic brake, automatic brake (train line),
independent (locomotive brake), lights to control your train. Its
almost
turning out to be a train simulator !
- Automatic Train Control supports digital
sound
decoders.
If you have a digital sound decoder installed in a locomotive, just
activate
the option and each control in the graphics user interface will use the
appropriate sound on your sound decoder.
- Now supports live video
streaming. If
you have a wireless camera installed in your locomotive, you can have
the
video images imported (streamed) to the graphic user interface. Now
this
really makes driving your locomotive real, seeing where you are driving
on your layout!
- Random Sounds. Now while
using
your program
you can play random recordings of trains, train crews, dispatchers,
track
foremen, etcerta with the accompanying wave files.
- Complete internet control.
With this new version you can now control another persons locomotive,
via the internet. See the action real time including the video. Soon to
come with be other features, such as consisting control, and
dispatching.
Future thoughts about the program.
I'm working with a friend of mine that works with
Operation Lifesaver. He would like to see a car routing service added.
What would you like to see in your program?
